2. Find out if you were raised in similar households.

- If the two of you were raised in a the same kind of household, i.e. two parents.

-This will reduce the number of potential clashes over the child rearing.

3. Find out whether or not you share the same spiritual background.

- How can two walk together unless they agree?

4. Is he a selfish man?

- Children can be very demanding of time, energy and patience.

- A man who's not empathetic to this may disrupt the harmony of the household.

5. Be sure he possesses the fruit of the spirit.

- Love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control should abound.

- Money is important, but is not everything.

- TRUE happiness comes from this fruit... not MONEY.

Motherhood, according to some is defined as a woman raising children and providing them the basic essentials of life. There is neither an accurate way nor are there enough words in the English language to adequately outline the importance of a mother. She must be an “everywoman” who’s role rapidly shifts from that of comforter, counselor, role model, cook, coach, cheerleader, healer, provider and last but not least minister.

A mother’s love for her child is one our greatest examples of God’s love. The moment she holds the fruit of her womb in her arms for the first time, maternal instinct takes hold and the need to nurture, protect and love this perfectly innocent bundle of joy.

Now the journey begins…Suddenly, the mother’s role changes as the world begins to exert it considerable influence in an attempt to stunt the spiritual growth of her family. Rather than collapse under the strain, the mother puts on her war clothes and becomes all things. How does she manage to juggle multiple roles and remain victorious? LOVE! Love makes her patient, strong and keeps her faithful.

You are not alone; it’s my intent that we create a “Virtual Village” that will assist us as we continue this odyssey that is motherhood. We will have a variety of resources available to you.
